Archbishop Martin Kivuva Musonde joined the rest of faithful’s in celebrating the Feast of All Souls day at Holy Ghost Cathedral Mombasa and also prayed for the soul of the late Bishop Cornellius Korir of Catholic Archdiocese of Eldoret who passed on earlier this week.

All Souls day is a day scheduled on second of November by the Mother Church to commemorate and pray for all the departed souls. In his homily, Archbishop Martin eulogized the late Bishop Korir as a peacemaker had capability of bringing reconciliation among different conflicting groups. ''He was my Chairman in Peace and Justice Commission and he was a very simple and humble person'', says Archbishop Kivuva.

He further said that he was a man of possibilities and he reconciled two conflicting tribes in Kenya in the year 1992 between Kikuyu in Molo and the Kalenjin, whereby fruits of peace were yielded.

Bishop Cornelius Korir will be laid to rest on Saturday 11th November at Sacred Heart Cathedral grounds in Eldoret.

May he rest in peace.
