The 29th Sunday of October 2017 was an extraordinary one in Bamba Parish as their Parish priest Fr. Richard Airo Okoo surprised his faithfulls with a brand new Jungle green Toyota wish. The vehicle was a gift awarded at the archdiocesan fundraiser after attaining position one as the most improved Parish.

The parishioners expressed joy because to them this was a surprise. Bamba Parish is known as one of the parishes that struggle for self-sustenance in the Archdiocese and so the win was a great achievement. Fr Richard blessed the gift which he presented to his parishioners and congratulated them for the good work and cooperation. The Parish leaders were so happy.

The chairman for development Mr Sammy Koi expressed his joy by saying that the win made him achieve his dream of greeting the Archbishop by hand. ''Bamba is known as one of the poorest parishes but it is not, through the help of God I want to repaint the image of Bamba'' said Fr. Richard. Mr Aloyce Masha who is the Chairman of the parish and also a retired teacher said that he can now retire peacefully with an achievement of the referral point that Bamba parish won a car during the era of his chairmanship. Bamba parish has four outstations and will be celebrating its golden jubilee in two year’s time.

Congratulations Bamba Parish for the win.
